Hazzan Mimi Haselkorn is one of the cantors at HAMAKOM in West Hills, CA. Prior to the merger, Hazzan Mimi served Temple Aliyah beginning in July 2009. She served the San Gabriel Valley community for almost two decades as Cantor and Education Director of Temple Beth David, teaching at the local Jewish Day School and Preschool, as well as leading a monthly Shabbat morning services in synagogues Pasadena and Thousand Oaks. Hazzan Haselkorn studied hazzanut with Hazzanim Allan Michelson (z”l), Nathan Lam, and Joseph Gole. She is an active member of the Cantors Assembly serving as co-chair of regions and national chair of the education committee and is immediate past co-chair of the Western Region, where for 10 years she helped plan regional conferences and events.
