When You Wonder, You’re Learning: Finding Inspiration and Guidance in the Work of Mister Rogers
Monday June 8, 2026 10:30am - 11:30am EDT
What if Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood wasn’t just a children’s program? What if it was actually a blueprint — one that educators of every kind can continue to learn from today?

In this keynote talk, Gregg Behr and Ryan Rydzewski — authors of the bestselling book When You Wonder, You’re Learning: Mister Rogers’ Enduring Lessons for Raising Creative, Curious, Caring Kids — reveal Fred Rogers as more than a nice guy in a sweater. In fact, Fred was an ingenious scientist and a legendary educator whose approach to working with children matters more than ever.

Together, Gregg and Ryan will explore how today's educators are following in Fred’s footsteps, building modern-day “neighborhoods” that equip every child to become the best of whoever they are. Full of practical examples and trips down memory lane, cantors will leave the talk with new ideas for nurturing happier, healthier kids and a more just and loving world.
